Synopsis
Human resource management is an important function in any organization. It’s managing the talents as well as preparation for future career in human resource management. Thus, this course developed to exposes student to the basic concepts and principles of human resource management such knowledge and skills in managing people and developing talents as well as nurturing decision-making skills needs for successful in a globalizing. The graduates of Diploma in Human Resource Management will enjoy a credit exemption if pursue human resource management degree or will be employed once complete the program.
Introduction:
The Diploma in Human Resource Management is a homegrown program developed and offers a structured package of courses to the basic knowledge and understanding of the human resource management in organizations. The program incorporates the practices of knowledge in wide ranging aspects of human resource management including recruitment and selection, training and development, staff motivation, organization behaviour, employment law and industrial relations. This multidisciplinary curriculum is designed to give students the extra cutting edge of careers. The syllabus of this course gives student the basic knowledge and understanding of human resource management in generating new ideas and concepts emerging in the marketplace as well as develops and improves the soft skills
Duration:
Approximately 3 years.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- SPM with minimum 3 credit or STPM with minimum CGPA of 2.00 or
- STAM with Maqbul or Certificate/SKM III with minimum CGPA of 2.00 (including 1 credit in SPM) or
- other qualifications as accepted by the Senate of ACT and Government of Malaysia.
Career:
Graduates of this program can be employed as Human Resources Executive; Labor Relations Executive; Compensation and Benefits Executive; Training and Development Executive; and Employment, Recruitment and Placement Officer.
